Dorset People & Places courses
People & Places is a secure place on the internet for Adults with Learning disabilities to keep in touch with family and friends as well as find out what is going on in the community.
Courses will be run in the following towns once we have 10
people signed up:
Blandford
Bridport
Christchurch
Dorchester
Ferndown
Sturminster Newton
Weymouth
The programmes are FREE
We will put on courses when we have enough
people for them to run.

The easy place to get your first, very affordable and internet ready computer
The link below will take you to useful information about getting a computer
at low cost through a scheme to help everyone get on line; cost is £165, or
£95 if you are on specified welfare benefits, they also offer one month's
internet access via a dongle to help people get going on the net.

The people who come to the meetings are all interested in improving services for people with learning disabilties.
People come from the NHS, social services, People First Dorset, carers groups and many other organisations.
